Hello Gorgeous -

I'm Laura, the owner and makeup artist behind Laura Henderson Makeup! I remember growing up and being so fascinated by makeup. I loved sitting in the bathroom with my mom, playing with her bag full of Clinique makeup before church and watching my grandma carefully apply her lipstick that was green in the tube and magically transformed to bright pink on her lips. I loved it all!

Being able to take this love of makeup I've had since being a little girl and have it become my passion where I can help other women feel more confident and beautiful has been amazing!

I love each and every one of my clients but my brides hold a very special place in my heart. I feel so honored when they choose me to be a part of their special day! When a bride comes to me, I know it's my job to help her feel the most beautiful she's ever felt on her wedding day. Sitting down and talking with my brides before applying makeup is such an important piece of the puzzle for me. I love hearing about why she chose their venue, what colors she's picked out, what her bouquet is going to look like, how she envisions herself on her wedding day - these all play in to creating her perfectly customized bridal makeup and gives me the opportunity to learn more about her and her love story.

Outside of the makeup world I spend my evenings in the gym, answering emails, hanging out with other incredibly talented creatives, and day-dreaming about where I want to travel to next. On the weekends when I'm not with my brides I love to go out hiking, relax by the pool, spend time with my family, and have movie/game nights! Mario Kart anyone?

I truly feel blessed with the life I've been given - to wake up every day and do something I love! Thank you for being a part of my journey and I can't wait to talk to you!
